Commissions

I’m happy to do commissions; either with fiber you supply, or fiber to suit your project.  I can spin about an ounce an hour; for sport-to worsted, and there’s about an hour of plying and processing for every set of bobbins in a simple yarn (2-ply to 5-ply).

Complex yarns such as cables and chain-ply take longer. and can be arranged on a per-project basis, see below

*Costs are based on you sourcing your own fiber and sending it to me. If you don’t have your own fiber I can source it.

If I source the fiber the consultation fee is $15, plus the cost of the fiber.  I’ll be able to give you a ballpark figure when you contact me, and verify the price before I order it. A deposit covering the consultation fee, and the full cost of the fiber, is required before I commence spinning.
